AI’s a tricky thing. You can tell from my book that I’ve embraced it in all the ways humans fall short. But while I’d happily burn my laptop for a verbal beating from an over-caffeinated AD, I’m not about to let a small budget ruin a good film idea. Just don’t tell the client that.

So, over the 2025-26 summer (I’m dating them because I’m sure they won’t age well), I decided to learn all this AI filmmaking by… making. And let me assure you, with how crafty you need to be with prompts, the age of human intelligence certainly isn’t dead.
